Tuya Smart (NYSE: TUYA, HKEX:2391), a global IoT development platform service provider, announced that it will present new products and solutions at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from February 27th to March 2nd. Under the theme of “IoT Everything Now”, Tuya will showcase cellular network connectivity products, as well as a home photovoltaic energy storage solution. It will also release a Wi-Fi chip demo developed in collaboration with Qualcomm. Tuya’s booth, featuring its 2023 brand colors, will be located at 1A70, in Hall 1 of Fira Barcelona.

Global mobile operators, device manufacturers and technology providers from all over the world will not only release new products but also collaborate with industry chain partners to discuss the development trend of future communication technologies. Tuya's theme of "IoT Everything Now" echoes the main theme of MWC 2023 - “Velocity - Unleashing Tomorrow's Technology - Today”, which aims to explore the development of IoT technologies and applications to achieve a future of digital intelligence.
For this year’s MWC, Tuya will demonstrate its cellular communication connection capabilities systematically. Visitors can learn about Tuya's full coverage for four major scenarios, including home intelligence, sensing, public utilities and outdoors. They will also see how Tuya can bring stable, safe and reliable connections to global customers. Moreover, visitors can learn how to develop Tuya-enabled devices with different cellular connection methods through Tuya's one-stop software and hardware solutions, which can meet the requirements of devices from varying distances while ensuring energy efficiency.
In addition, Tuya will showcase its home photovoltaic energy storage solution for the very first time. This solution consists of a data collection communication rod, a Tuya-enabled App and an energy management platform. The data collection communication rod features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE dual modules, which easily enable "plug and play", significantly improving the solution’s capabilities. As global demand for green energy and energy management grows, the smart solution will be a focus for Tuya at MWC. Enabled by the communication rod, it can provide improved energy management experiences for customers.
Tuya will also bring visitors more operable, open and convenient one-stop development services and cloud platform services, such as smart App solutions and the Cube Solution. They can help clients easily complete the smart transformation for their brands and businesses. For example, clients who already have product portfolios can use the Tuya IoT Development Platform to create branded Apps with low-code and multiple templates with Tuya’s smart App solutions. The company will also hold a “Tuya Day” event on March 1st. It is a signature event that Tuya has hosted at major global trade shows.
