June 12, 2023 - Tuya Smart (NYSE: TUYA, HKEX: 2391), a global IoT development platform service provider, and Mirage, a leading air conditioner brand in Mexico, announced a partnership to develop smart air conditioner products for the Mexican market. The parties also aim to further implement IoT solutions to promote greener and smarter home appliances and broaden product offerings.

Since 2016, Mirage has been working on digital projects with a vision for a connected future where products like air conditioners are crucial to creating a true smart home ecosystem. As a result, Mirage began searching for partners that could assist them in creating their own smart devices, and the relationship began after they started inquiry and collaboration with Tuya at the end of 2018.

Through the partnership, Tuya will provide smart app solutions, enabling Mirage to create their own app in response to user demands. Tuya’s extensive development-free UI package, which includes device control logic and UI encapsulation of numerous complicated business modules, will enable Mirage to rapidly realize device connection, device control and management.

Additionally, based on the large Tuya-enabled hardware ecosystem and Tuya’s global market experience, Tuya will work closely with Mirage to expand its smart product portfolio and implement more smart solutions for homeowners to strengthen the local smart home ecosystem.
