First company in Chile to customize the Smart Security App Powered by Tuya.
SANTA CLARA, CA—December. 3, 2020—Tuya Smart, a leading global AI+IoT (AIoT) platform provider, and CASA DOMOTICA EVOLUTION, a Chilean company that provides low-cost security and home automation systems since 2005, today announced a partnership to customize the CASA DOMOTICA Smart Security App Powered by Tuya, to jointly promote smart security in the home automation market in Chile.
In October 2020, CASA DOMOTICA started a new project in cooperation with Tuya to customize their own Smart Security App under the brand name CASA DOMOTICA and will soft launch in November with more than 200 devices to test the Smart Security App in the local market.
“We are one of the first companies in Chile that promote new smart home devices Powered by Tuya, and the first to customize branded products that work with the Smart Life App. In addition, we are the first company to customize the Smart Security App to offer monitoring plans and develop our own app based on Tuya’s AIoT Developer Platform,” said Esteban Zapata, CEO of CASA DOMOTICA EVOLUTION.
By the end of October 2020, the Tuya IoT Development Platform served over 230,000 developers around the world. The "AI+IoT" platform has smart-enabled more than 200,000 products. Now, Powered by Tuya products can be found in more than 190 countries in over 100,000 sales channels globally.
So far, CASA DOMOTICA has managed to commercialize thousands of Powered by Tuya devices in Chile and has also worked in the customization of products such as Wi-Fi alarm systems, Wi-Fi IP cameras, and a Zigbee-based alarm system soon. It’s expected that CASA DOMOTICA will expand to national retail to reach new market segments, such as commercial stores, supermarkets, and hardware stores in the local market.
