Request for Change
In their early days, Smart Homy sold Z-Wave gateways to telecoms. It was a tough business, as the market for hubs or gateways was shrinking. And they saw a rise in Wi-Fi or RF-enabled products, which could offer a better user experience.
After testing Tuya's Wi-Fi bulb, Smart Homy was impressed by how easy it was to connect it to a Wi-Fi network and operate it through an App. It was then that Smart Homy saw a window open to a new business.

To take the end-customer experience to the next level, Smart Homy has developed their application and customized it for their clients, which can be easily integrated to SaaS services with subscription feature.

Claro, part of the América Móvil Group, is Smart Homy's most successful case. Smart Homy has introduced an ecosystem of products from camera, lighting, sensor, and home appliance to thousands of customers of Claro. The platform and products which are empowered by Tuya Smart have gone through a long certification process and deliver services with high quality, reliability, and robustness to customers.
Thanks to this, it is possible to continue growing with confidence by introducing new IoT products and services in Latam. Now Smart Homy is having other success stories with new clients in retail industry such as Walmart, Grupo Liberty, etc.
